1. Use case: Which specific team problem needs solving?
2. Integration: Does the tool work with your existing systems?
3. Ownership: Who will administer and maintain it?
4. Privacy: How are data access, retention and exports managed?
5. Pricing: How does cost change with usage and seats?
6. Success: What evidence will show that the tool helped?

Useful baseline measurements

Track one quality metric, one efficiency metric and one user-experience metric. Avoid reporting a larger number of metrics than the team can meaningfully discuss.
